Tragedy- Payposter and Trials- Crazoo, CashPosting

So that lovely little paid to post site I was talking about Payposter.
Hmmm, they paid me once ($10) and promoted me to a Moderator. I reached payout- another $15 was due to my account, and others had put in claims for their money too... but it seems google adsense cancelled the owners account, and so there was no money to pay the people. I went on a bit of a rampage and got banned ;) before the site "officially" closed down.

I am a also trialling acouple of other paid to post forums, which both have limits on how many 'paid' posts you can write daily. Crazoo, which has an excellent and active admin, and CashPosting, which I am still onl in the early stages of checking out.
I won't be promoting a referral link for either of these sites, until I have been paid by them so stay tuned.

The good thing about these two sites, is that the earnings algorithym is made available to the members, unlike at Mylot, and earnings are updated immediately which I also like.
More on them soon though.

UPDATES
My ebay business is booming, Im moving away from childrens clothing, and am selling my own original artworks on ebay, which are selling really well. I have just sold my first international piece so Im pretty excited.
I have started a party plan business, selling childrens clothing at wholesale prices. Its the excess stock of Target, KMart and Myer. Im pretty excited about it really, my first party is on Monday :) Wish me luck!
Mylot is plodding along as usual, Ive been writing two responses to a friends discussions and maintaining one of my discussions diligently and its earning me fifty cents a day which isnt too bad considering Im only on there for like ten minutes maybe...lol
I am still working on my gift basket business, my ebook business and getting my partners Building Company up and running.
PTR is normal (Read Revenue is no longer paying) but I have a few more that do pay- BerryMails, SeekingCash(did I already have that) and WorldCupMails-this is on my watchlist though as I have heard one report of them not paying, although maybe the person just wasnt doing valid searches.
Everything is going along nicely and growing bigger and bigger by the day.
I am just about to buy canvases and paint wholesale, in bulk, to juice up my artowrk business as it is really getting somewhere...
More soon,
megs

By the way, next post Ill get into some tips for Mystery Shopping, and after that Party Plan Business Tips (Promise it wont take me as long this time :D )

Premier General Finance-

Premier General Finance, http://www.capitalpgf.com is another site I have stumbled across. The company describes itself as having a goal "to assist the small to medium size business owner obtain working capital for their business."

http://www.capitalpgf.com was established in 2004, and as such has a deal of credibility behind them just for that simple fact. A company that can withstand competition and time must be doing something right.

Based in Florida, in the US, they say: "We get you cash! Through our network, we can assist you in obtaining as much $500,000 in capital for your company, in as little as 7 days." I say for anybody looking for this type of service, give this site a look and contact this company. The website is

Savings Goals and Earning Online

My goal is to save ten thousand dollars over the next five years.
How am I going to do that?

If I save $20 in cash every week I will have $5345 approximately in five years time.
If I put it in a high interest bank account 5.25%p.a in five years time I would have around $6079. Still not enough.
Let's make it $25 a week into that same account, after five long years I have saved about $7586.
To do it within 5 years I need to save around $33 a week to make my $10,000 target.

BUT what if we tried this a different way? Short term sacrifices for long term gain?
$200 a week is a lot of money, but it is possible. Cut out all the unnecassary wastage of money and I can. Use the income I am earning online to pay for it. And in that same bank account, after one year I will have ten thousand dollars saved. Really puts things in perspective doesnt it?

If I did that for five years I would have $50,000. Now thats a lot of money.

Now the purpose of all these calculations was to determne my goal for online earning. I want to earn a minimum of $200 a week in profit. Now granted, I made that last week selling on ebay, but ebay sales fluctuate so I need multiple sources of income to ensure my goal is met...

1. Ebay Selling: If I make an average of $2 profit on each item, I would need to list 100 auctions each week to make my goal. But what if some of these didn't sell? Rather my goal should be to list 50items weekly in the hope of generating $100 week.50 % of my total weekly aim.

2. Mylot: I earn an average of $1.50 a day on Mylot. Thats $10.50 a week. Now if I put in a little more effort and followed my own tips, I could definitely be earning more than that. Lets say my goal from mylot is $15-$20 a week. 10% of my overall goal.

3. So far I'm up to 60%.Now I have retired from ptr, but what if I were to take up being an active member of one of them again? Cool Cat Mails is by far the best. So say I earn an average of $5.00 from them weekly. Thats only 2.5%
*I need to come up with a way to generate the other 37.5% I need to reach my savings goal each week.* I need a way to earn $75 weekly. I would love to "go get a job" but with a seven month old son thats sort of difficult. I have looked at forex trading and such but it seems quite risky and difficult.

4. I could deduct $25 from my partners salary each week towards the savings goal. But I am still needing a means to make $50, or 25% of the target.

What can I do to make $50 a week, any suggestions?

How to Make the BIG BUCKS with PTR

What Is PTR?
PTR stands for Paid to Read. There are a number of programs (hundreds in fact) that will pay you to receive their emails and for you to perform a valid search on each and every email. Noone can FORCE you to do a valid search, it is entirely voluntary, however valid searches are how the programs that you are joined to generate their revenue from advertisers, so think about it. If you don't search, they don't get paid...so you don't get paid.
The only sites I will list here are sites that I have had experience with. Good or Bad. Keep in mind that paying sites sometimes stop for whatever reason, and that new sites come along so often that its hard to keep up.

How to do a Valid Search:
1. Click a search term, word or phrase on the portal or parking page and let the results page fully load.Alternatively you can enter your own search term in the box provided.2. Click on one of the results that come up from your search and wait for that page to fully load.
That is what is known as a "valid search"

To Get Started
I always reccommend that you keep a record of the programs you are joined to, include all your account information, when you joined, their minimum payout, their downline levels, etc. Keep track of how much you have earnt and when they have paid you.
Join at least 5 programs to start with, see how you go with those (remember the more programs you join, the more emails you get sent and the more work you have to put in)... If after a month you are doing well, add another 5. Replace any programs you feel aren't earning you enough...

Referrals
You do NOT need referrals to get paid, however any referrals that you can sign up under you will help to contribut towarsd your earnings and help you to reach payout faster.

Earnings
Expect to earn anywhere from $10 to $400 a month doing ptr. It is limited by the number of programs you belong to. The effort that you put in, and the number of people you have under you.

Payment
Payments are made via paypal or e-gold. Most programs only accept paypal so if you don't already have an account register for one here https://www.paypal.com/au/mrb/pal=KGZZYWTEXKCAC Its free and really worthwhile.
Payments are made after you reach the sites minimum payout, and are usually made within 48 hours unless specified differently in the sites terms of service.

Paying Sites
CoolCatMails: This is my top pick. Payout is $4 but easy to reach every 3-4 days without referrals. I have made hundreds of dollars off this one site alone. The webmaster is honest, fast and very friendly and if you have a problem, or arent getting enough search mails email him and he will fix it. They usually pay within 24 hours.
http://www.coolcatmails.com/pages/index.php?refid=megs85

ReadRevenue: Another one that has paid me. Payout is $3, takes around 6 days to reach. Always pay within 48 hours.
www.readrevenue.com

TesasTeaMails: This one is a little slower than the other two, the payout is $2, but a genuine site that pays with lots of other fun ways to earn (raffles, contests, etc). Payout within 48 hours. Honest and friendly webmaster. Best of all this program is open to international members.
www.tesasteamails.com

Classical Mail: A low 50 cent minimum payout makes this a great site to earn. Less mails than the others and cash out is limited to once a month, but you can make a tidy little sum each month. Pays within 48 hours.
www.classical-mail.com

SeekingCash: $1 minimum payout, but the webmaster is great and usually pays out every two days randomly. Only 1 cent emaisl which is great. Fantastic site. majke around 50 cents every two days.
www.seeking-cash.com

WorldCupMails: Another fantastic site. Once you reach the $3 minimum they automatically pay you, no need to request. Easy to reach payout every 3 days with no referrals. Excellent Site. Payment within 48 hours. www.worldcupmails.com

Non-Paying Sites
There ae a number of scam sites when it comes to ptr. Too many to name. Check out www.gptboycott.com for a full list. A few that come to mind that will NOT pay are seekingbizs.com, spicemails.com, forex-mails.com, 500cent-500dollars.com, and so many more. Anything promising to pay you more than a few cents per email is a SCAM. Avoid these so you don't waste your time.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you in any other way.

Turning Cents into Dollars: Earning BIG on Mylot...

Mylot is one of the most enjoyable and easiest ways to make some money online. They pay once a month on the fifteenth via paypal or e-gold. International members are welcome. You have from the 1st til the 31st of each month to accumulate earnings. The minimum payout is ten dollars, but you can select a higher option if you prefer.

Paypal is the best way to receive payment, and the easiest. If you don't already have an account sign up at https://www.paypal.com/au/mrb/pal=KGZZYWTEXKCAC
It's free to register and really worthwhile.

So, if you aren't already a member of the mylot community, the first thing you need to is register. Its completely free. http://www.mylot.com/megs85

If you are, then these tips will help you to maximise your earnings. Remember the only limitations on your earnings potential is those you place on yourself. Mylot does reward hard work, effort and quality. So it's not going to make you rich, but who couldn't use an extra hundred, or few hundred dollars a month?
First of all, Mylot is about interaction, so you need to be active, whether it is responding to discussions, starting new ones, uploading images or commenting. You get paid for your level of interaction.
Mylot does not reveal their earnings algorithym and it is against their guidelines to speculate about it. Please respect this and you'll go far.
A set of guidelines pertaining to both discussions and images has been placed on the mylot website and can be viewed here: http://www.mylot.com/o/topguidelines.aspx

There are a number of tips to improve your earnings, they are as follows:
1. Reply to quality discussions with a quality response of a minimum 4-6 lines, being as clear, informative and polite as possible. Try to contribute something new, and original to the discussion. Make an effort. Make sure you read the discussion carefally and respond relevantly.

2. If you are going to add an image to the discussion, or to your interests for that matter, make certain that it is related to the topic.Describe it as thoroughly as possible and tag it when prompted with relevant keywords. Do not use copyrighted images, and try to use smaller sized files (Not everyone has broadband and large files take forever to load). Do not use the same image more than once.

3. Avoid answering useless/bad topics as they will eventually be deleted and your earnings and rating will decrease accordingly.

4. Write in English, don't use one word/one sentence responses, and don't write nonsense.

5. Aim for best response every time you answer a discussion- because guess what? You get paid for it!

6. Add relevant tags to all responses when prompted, as many as possible.
7. Try not to be too pushy or argumentative, and try to make friends with other members, so that you can help one another out. Nobody wants a rude, arrogant friend.

8. Try to answer Questions with no responses, as these appear to earn more than popular topics, or topics that already have a response. Plus, it's a nice way to make new friends and to ensure that everyone gets their say, the same way you would like to be heard...

9. Set daily goals and try to be consistent. If you find a method that works for you, stick with it. Take in all advice offered, but only apply that which is relevant to you and helps you. Everyone is different and goes about things in a different way. My aim is to make 50 posts a day (both responses and discussions). Work out what yours will be and go for it.

10. Keep a record of your earnings if you like. Record how many responses you post in a day, and when your earnings update 24 hours later (they only update once a day so don't be alarmed if your posting away and your balance is still showing zero- the money will show up the next day!) jot down how much you earnt next to the discussions/responses posted...

11. Start quality discussions. Make them open for discussion rather than just statements. Make them relevent to a wide number of people. Update your interests page and where possible start a discussion from one of your interests. If you write a quality discussion, people will respond with quality. This will increase you earnings...

12. Controversial/Debatable topics will attract a lot of responses. But don't lie or create stupid discussions merely to generate replies. People will see through that and rate and report you accordingly.

13. Maintain the discussions you do start. Comment back to the first response or so, and then if it is still getting responses leave it alone for awhile. Come back to it when people start to lose interest and write comments to peoples responses.

14. Use the rate, report and mark best response features. This is interacting. If you do not feel strongly one way or another about a post do not rate it. Report abusive or offensive posts. Mark the best response to your discussion.

15. Referrals. Try and get some. I don't have any and it hasnt seemed to diminished my earning potential thus far but if you know others that would be interested send them your referral link and have them join up under you. You earn 25% of what they earn. Referrals are only good if they are active so only refer genuinely interested people. Remember for you to make money from them, they must make money.

Please add me as a friend, my username is Megs85 and ask me any further questions should you have them.
Good Luck and Happy Earning.

Ebay Earnings so far

So far, after my first week I have made around $150 in profit using ebay to sell used and new quality childrens clothing. The fees on ebay are a little steep, but if I can do it, anyone can...thats the way I see it.
I'm currently in the process of writing up how to maximise one's earnings on mylot, so that will be posted within the next few days. Its a great site as I've mentioned. If you aren't already a member take a look... http://www.mylot.com/?ref=megs85
And if you are, keep reading my blog and I'll be adding some great tips to help you increase your mylot earnings next time. Til then, happy earnings everyone, hope you are all doing as well as I am...

Ebay Selling: How to maximise your profits...

If you don't already have an ebay account you'll need to register, it is free to join, and it allows you to buy and sell.
A paypal account is also another great thing to sign up for if you don't already have one. It is also free to get one of these and allows you to receive payments from buyers in this way. This money can then be transferred to your bank account.
https://www.paypal.com/au/mrb/pal=KGZZYWTEXKCAC

1. Before you do anything else work out what kind of product/s you want to sell and do some research. Find out how much they are going to cost you and then look at the average price they are selling for on ebay. There is no point in selling something that will cost you more to buy, then it will sell for. Check out the listing fees, and take them into account. Remember that ebay charges you a final value fee as well. Taking all these things into consideration, is this the product you want to sell?

2. Once you have researched and sourced your product, you need to make a goal. Work out how much you want to earn in profit on a weekly basis and how many items you will have to sell, at their average selling price which you have previously researched, and taking into consideration ebay's fees- to reach your target. Say your goal is $200 per week, and you sell Handbags that cost you $5 to buy/make. They generally sell for $20, and it costs you approximately $3 in ebay fees. You are making $12 profit on each bag, so would need to list approximately 16 bags per week. But what if some didn't sell. Better to list 20 then to cover the prospect of an item needing to be relisted, or a bag selling for under average price.

3. Before you start listing, learn all about postage/shipping methods and costs. Find the cheapest, and fastest method of posting your item, and work out how much it is going to cost to post it, and how long it should take to get to its destination. Make sure you take into consideration the cost of the box/bag you will buy to post the item, and any materials that will be used to package it. For example, bubble wrap around fragile items. Always charge a tiny bit extra to cover handling charges, and the cost of petrol to get to the post office. Some sellers like to choose a "mailing" day on which they post all their items once a week. Do what works for you. Another alternative is to buy in bulk prepaid satchels to post your items. It works out relatively cheaper and is a much quicker way of getting things in the mail.

4. Buyers love pick ups, so if you feel comfortable with people coming to pick up items from your home, state that this option is available in your listing.

5. Once you have your stock, take clear photographs of the item. One good photograph is better than ten bad ones. Make sure they aren't too large or high resolution, because images that take forever to load are a big turn off for prospective bidders. If the product is damaged ina ny way include a photograph of the damage so that prospective buyers know exactly what they are bidding on. One clear photograph should be sufficient, howeevr if you are listing a bundle of items make sure tehy can all be seen clearly, otherwise invest in some more photos.

6. Now its time to list your item. Auctions that end on a weekend, particularly a Sunday seem to attract more bids and a higher end price so try to list your item so that it ends between 7pm and 8pm on a Sunday evening. This means that if it is a 3 day listing, start it on a Thursday evening, a 5 day listing should begin on a Tuesday evening, a 7 day auction should start on a Sunday and a 10 day auction should be listed on a Thursday.

7. Your auction TITLE line should be used intelligently. You only have a limited amount of space so use it wisely to show the potential buyer/bidder exactly what you are offering. DO NOT USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, as it looks tacky and unproffessional and is more likely to scare away bidders than attract them. If it is a famous brand name item that you have up for auction make sure to include that, or a size for an item of clothing. Words such as LOOK and WOW oonly distract the potential customer so avoid them... Same with words and phrases like "SO CUTE" and "ADORABLE". Keep it to the point and clear. Don't mislead the reader.

8. Use a subtitle if there is something that really needs to be stated, particularly for a bulk lot/bundle. Sometimes the extra investment is worth it, but if you can get away with out it, don't bother...

9. A Gallery Picture is a must. The extra cost pays for itself, as it is more appealing to bidders. It helps to highlight what you are selling, and distinguish it from the other items in the list. Make sure you use a great, clear photo.

10. Don't list items that are already listed by other sellers that aren't selling, or aren't selling well. It's a waste of time. If someone else can't sell it, chances are noone wants it, and you won't be able to sell it either.

11. List items in the correct category to ensure tehy sell for their best price and attract the right type of viewers and bidders. If in doubt list in multiple categoreis, but be aware that all of your listing fees will eb doubled in doing this. If you know where to put it, don't bother listing it in more than one category.

12. A great way to encourage bidding competition is to list more than one item per auction, for example: two size 3 girls t-shirts that look completely differenta nd are two different brands. One bidder may be desperately afetr that pink frilly pumpkin patch top, the other has their eye on that electric blue singlet top with the beads on the front. Thus a bidding war between teh two ebayers erupt and your items sell for more...

13. When describing your item make sure you do it in a logical odrer. Do not use large font, or all CAPITAL LETTERS as this is annoying and turns the buyer away. Don't overuse words like "gorgeous", "sweet", "rare", "awesoem". Be clear, concise and informative in yuor description. Write what the item is, the brand, the year if applicable, any labels/tags/marks, the material/what it is made out of, dimensions/size/measurements, condition of the item, any special features it has. Make it enticing, but to the point. Don't be lazy and say "refer to picture" or "ask questions if you want". People are turned off by this unproffesional type of behaviour. Make sure you spell words correctly. Proof read your listing before submitting it. If you are lsiting clothing include measurements, if teh garment has stretch include measurements both stretched and unstretched.

14. Put the most informative photo first so buyers are immediately attracted to your listing and can see exactly what is on offer.

15. Avoid overusing colours, stay away from cute animations, fancy borders and coloured backgrounds. They scare away potential bidders, and look cheap- even though they can be costly to include.

16. Offer a number of different payment options to increase the market you appeal to. Paypal is ebays own payment method so try to include it. They charge minimal fees but the amount of customers it attracts is worth it.

17. Have clear payment and shipping policies, and keep them uniform throughout all your listing. Have a refund policy, even if it is STRICTLY NO REFUNDS. Attach a copy of both these policies at the end of each of your listings. People like to know where they stand and what is expected of them should they be successful in winning the item. Allow flexibility if someone contacts you prior to auctions end, and/or prior to bidding with an alternative arrangement.

18. Start your item at a low price, partcularly if you know it will attract a lot of buyers. This encourages healthy early bidding, more interest from a greater number of bidders and also helps you to keep your insertion fees down.

19. Another way to attract more buyers is by offering some sort of "freebie" with your item. Whether it be a free upgrade to express post (they pay regular, you send it express), free postage for using the Buy It Now option, an extra item if bidding goes over a certain threshold. Whatever you think is appropriate and enticing.

20. Answer all emails in a prompt and friendly manner. Be business like ina ll your transactions. People will feel more secure buying off a friendly, approachable but professional seller.

21. Do eevrything you can to maintain good feedback. Feedback can make or break you in the wonderful world of ebay. Make sure you hand out good feedback and you'll get it in return. Another way to boost your feedback is prior to selling buy a few cheaper items, particularly ones you can pay with using paypal. Pay for them immediately, leave good feedback and you will get rated well in return. Great way to start off your ebay selling career.

22. Keep a record of all your sales. Expenditure, Profit, Details of the Transaction. Know which item is going where, at what time, when it is ending, when to send off a payment reminder and all that kind of information. Have it written down in a little notebook that you keep beside the computer. Small enough to transport to the post office, but big enought to keep detailed records.

23. Save all correspondence between yourself and other ebay members. Print it and file it away, just in case things turn sour- which lets be honest, occassionally happens, no matter how good your intentions.

24. Post things promptly after payment is received and package it well. No buyer is going to be happy with damaged goods due to poor packaging. Offer registered post for an additional cost to protect against loss/damage during transit.

25. Last but not least treat it seriously... if you treat it like a business, it will be one, and you can expect the same sort of profits as you would get from running any other home based business. It can be as small or large scale as you desire, and your only limitations are those you set for yourself. Good Luck!

Welcome to my world...

So this is my latest blog.
I've been trying to earn online for about a year now and in total I've made about a hundred us dollars so far. Not much to brag about I know I know.
I've tried ptr, ebay and cash for posting sites.
There are a lot of paid to read email sites that are scams. I know a handful that have paid me, but at ten dollars- twenty dollars a month on average for HOURS of clicking and searching, it just doesn't seem worth it.
The best I've tried thus far is mylot. You get paid for posting discussions and responses- I can average around fifty dollars a month on that if I stay active. If I had more time and more referrals (well any to be honest) I could probably earn a lot more. I'll get into the details of thiss site in a nother post though.
The final thing I have tried is ebay. I'm in the process of establishing an ebay business at the moment so I'll probably keep a record of how its going here. Wish me luck everyone... I have a feeling I'm going to need it. I'm about fifty bucks out of pocket thus far, with fifty dollars worth of ebay fees waiting to be paid...hmmm...
So anyway I'll keep this one short and sweet.
If anyone knows of any genuine, free ways to earn online please feel free to drop me a line or two and I'll give it a go.
